I didn't really go Gaga for the BB Creams as most of what I've tried seems to be too white for me. I would have to mix it with a foundation or put some blush all over my face :) CC Creams are said to be "enhanced" version of the popular BB (Blemish Balm) Cream. Whether it is gimmick or not, I loved that CC creams do not require 'color matching', which solves my BB cream dilemma.

Few weeks back, I posted a review on Chanel CC Cream. Since I wasn't very much happy about it, and there are only few options of CC Creams in the market, I've decided to search for other brands carrying CC creams.
Lucky enough, CC Cream was made popular by Rachel K, which happens to be a Singapore brand so I didn't have a very hard time finding one. Although it is available in selected Watsons stores, it is still very affordable at SGD 29.90.

I am drawn to red items recently. Among these, my NYX Red Lipstick has been in my "Be Fierce" arsenal in the last 2 months.

I'll never be the type to use Red. I've always preferred light pink stains (and yeah I always end up with embarassing stains on my teeth too) or just balm (to avoid those stains)

It's only recently that I've invested in Matte Lipsticks. NYX was my first, in Deep Red,

In this look, I tried being Geisha for a Night.. no I'm kidding I just placed emphasis on the red lips.


Price and Availability. I think some online sellers, such as Cherry Culture, still have it but its no longer available at most drugstores and in the NYX main website. I bought it for SGD 10.

Shade. It is a richly pigmented red. Better applied with a lip brush to make it more natural.

I continued playing with makeup right after my earlier review of the Chanel CC Cream. I had a Makeup Haul last weekend so I used all of them in this playtime.

I got intrigued by Ion' Orchard's FB post on makeup "Have you experimented lately?"

Though it would be a tutorial but it just happened to be a couple of eye makeup pegs.

Since I don't have anything going on on a Friday night and while my brothers are busy with their friends downstairs, I figured its been a long while since I played "Makeup Weekends".

I pulled out my almost dusty, rarely-used Coastal Scents 88-palette eyeshadow kit and started getting inspirations from Youtube and Pinterest

Since I was in my pink pambahay sando :) my peg was ta-dah! . a Smokey Pink Date inspired makeup.. its not for daytime wear but light enough for evening wear..

Didn't you have that dream of being a celebrity and have the latest clothes and makeup sponsored? Apart from that, you have enough cash to buy yourself that designer item you've been lusting for?
Didn't you have that dream of winning a  shopping spree? or be given 2 minutes at the mall and grab all dress, makeup, shoes and accessories that you can? 


If only things were that easy.. but for a regular girl like me.. I need to work extra hard and put aside some money to spend for these.. I am fond of window-shopping or online-eye-shopping :) and these are my Lust-Haves this month :)

Why is it on the Lust-List? Makeup hardly stays on me. I would always joke about "Naghalfday na naman ang beauty ko" Because I would step out of the house really made up fresh looking and after some about 4 hrs or some change in temperature, my makeup either darkens or turns oily or disappears completely. This might be the answer! The best addition to my current primer-foundation-loose powder combo.

2. Pink Jeggings from Uniqlo / Cotton On, Sgd 34.90 - 39.90. 

Why is it on the Lust-List? Wearing pink pants seems really clean and feminine to me. The perfect alternative to the white pants.

3. New Look White Butterfly Print Dipped Hem Maxi Dress, about 60SGD. 

Why is it on the Lust-List? Oh yes another mullet, but I never got past my obsession for butterflies. The print is so adorable! I just feel like this dress is very much ME!

4. Sephora Deluxe Fragrance Sampler For Her.

Why is it on the Lust-List? Sure there's still a need to explain? haha.. It takes a long time for me to finish a bottle of perfume and i'm so guilty to buy a new one. I do not have a signature scent and I prefer switching scents depending on my mood. So I'd get to try different scents for the price of one!

5. The Perfect Denim Jacket. 

Why is it on the Lust-List? It's not just a lust-have. It should be a staple in every woman's closet. It looks good on just about anything. I'm still on the search for the perfect denim jacket with the perfect fit. Not too tight, not too loose.
